The law and order situation on the occasion of by-election in the National Assembly constituency NA-127 remained peaceful here on Sunday. Senior Superintendent Police (Operations) Aftab Ahmad Cheema while talking to APP here said he along with other senior police officers visited different polling stations for checking the law and order situation and found the same satisfactory.

"People were going to the polling stations in a peaceful atmosphere for casting their votes and no untoward incident occurred during the election in the constituency", SSP said.
